Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2017, the Nevada citizen population was 2.59M. The Non-Hispanic White Alone ethnicity group had the highest citizen population (1.44M) and constituted 55.34% of the total. The Hispanic or Latino of All Races ethnicity group had the second highest citizen population (609.37K) and constituted 23.49% of the total. The Non-Hispanic Black or African American Alone ethnicity group had the third highest (236.26K), constituting 9.11% of the total citizen population.
