Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2017, the Hispanic or Latino of All Races citizen population for Alabama was 138,160 and represented 2.91% of the total Alabama citizen population.

Among all Alabama counties, Jefferson had the highest Hispanic or Latino of All Races citizen population (14.80K), followed by Madison (12.28K), and Mobile (9.12K).

In terms of percentages, Franklin had the highest percentage of its citizen population being Hispanic or Latino of All Races (10.22%), followed by DeKalb (8.97%), and Marshall (8.70%).
