Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2017, the Non-Hispanic White Alone citizen population for Maryland was 3,188,605 and represented 57.43% of the total Maryland citizen population.

Among all Maryland counties, Baltimore had the highest Non-Hispanic White Alone citizen population (480.88K), followed by Montgomery (450.16K), and Anne Arundel (390.41K).

In terms of percentages, Garrett had the highest percentage of its citizen population being Non-Hispanic White Alone (96.78%), followed by Carroll (90.88%), and Allegany (88.04%).
