Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2018, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population for North Dakota was 1,281,810 and represented 174.48% of the total North Dakota citizen population.

Among all North Dakota counties, Cass had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population (6.45K), followed by Ward (2.36K), and Grand Forks (2.32K).
