Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2018, the Non-Hispanic White Alone citizen population for North Carolina was 3,187,680 and represented 32.99% of the total North Carolina citizen population.

Among all North Carolina counties, Wake had the highest Non-Hispanic White Alone citizen population (620.83K), followed by Mecklenburg (488.86K), and Guilford (263.12K).

In terms of percentages, Ashe had the highest percentage of its citizen population being Non-Hispanic White Alone (94.84%), followed by Madison (94.74%), and Clay (94.67%).
