Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2019, the Non-Hispanic Asian Alone citizen population for Iowa was 43,200 and represented 1.42% of the total Iowa citizen population.

Among all Iowa counties, Polk had the highest Non-Hispanic Asian Alone citizen population (13.73K), followed by Johnson (4.64K), and Scott (3.29K).
