Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2019, the California citizen voting-age population was 25.49M. The Non-Hispanic White Alone ethnicity group had the highest citizen voting-age population (11.87M) and constituted 46.56% of the total. The Hispanic or Latino of All Races ethnicity group had the second highest citizen voting-age population (7.59M) and constituted 29.78% of the total. The Non-Hispanic Asian Alone ethnicity group had the third highest (3.50M), constituting 13.72% of the total citizen voting-age population.
