Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2019, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population for Virginia was 967,605 and represented 15.76% of the total Virginia citizen voting-age population.

Among all Virginia counties, Richmond city had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population (82.32K), followed by Norfolk city (76.06K), and Henrico (72.61K).
