Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, among the 893 New Union CDP, AL population, the 55-59yrs age group constituted the highest percentage of the population (13.10%), followed by the 45-49yrs age group (11.53%), and the Under 5yrs age group (11.09%).

In the case of age cohorts, Adults (18-64yrs) constituted the highest percentage of the total population (57.45%), followed by Children (0-17yrs) (26.32%), and Seniors (65yrs and Over) (16.24%).
