Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2022, the citizen population for Alaska was 712,100 and represented 96.91% of the total Alaska population.
Among all Alaska counties, Anchorage had the highest citizen population (279.69K), followed by Matanuska-Susitna (107.45K), and Fairbanks North Star (93.92K).
In terms of percentages, Kusilvak had the highest percentage of its population being citizens (99.58%), followed by Nome (99.35%), and Copper River (99.24%).
