Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2022, the citizen population for Delaware was 948,665 and represented 95.47% of the total Delaware population.
Among all Delaware counties, New Castle had the highest citizen population (539.98K), followed by Sussex (230.98K), and Kent (177.72K).
In terms of percentages, Kent had the highest percentage of its population being citizens (97.43%), followed by Sussex (95.97%), and New Castle (94.64%).
