Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2022, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population for Indiana was 1,317,960 and represented 20.07% of the total Indiana citizen population.

Among all Indiana counties, Marion had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population (257.32K), followed by Lake (114.54K), and Allen (41.89K).

In terms of percentages, Marion had the highest percentage of its citizen population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (28.43%), followed by Lake (23.73%), and St. Joseph (12.64%).
