Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2022, the citizen voting-age population for Maryland's State Legislative Subdistrict 38A was 37.89K. The Non-Hispanic White Alone racial group had the highest citizen voting-age population (24.20K) and constituted 63.86% of the total.

The Non-Hispanic Black or African American Alone racial group had the second highest citizen voting-age population (11.76K) and constituted 31.04% of the total.
