Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2022, the Minnesota citizen voting-age population was 4.21M. The Non-Hispanic White Alone ethnicity group had the highest citizen voting-age population (3.57M) and constituted 84.86% of the total.

The Non-Hispanic Black or African American Alone ethnicity group had the second highest citizen voting-age population (211.25K) and constituted 5.02% of the total. The Non-Hispanic Asian Alone ethnicity group had the third highest (158.45K), constituting 3.77% of the total citizen voting-age population.
