Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, there were 2.32M people in California with Irish ancestry (5.88% of California population). Among all California cities and places with a population of at least 10K, Los Osos CDP had the highest percentage of its population with Irish ancestry (19.48%), followed by Sonoma city (19.36%), and San Anselmo town (18.11%).
