Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, the Illinois Black or African American Alone population (aged 25 years and above) who had an educational attainment of High School Graduate or Equivalent was 333,365. Among all Illinois counties, Cook County had the highest Black or African American Alone population (aged 25 years and above) with an educational attainment of High School Graduate or Equivalent (226,417), followed by St. Clair County (15,970), and Will County (13,243).
