Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, the percentage of the New York Black or African American Alone population (aged 25 years and above) who had an educational attainment of Bachelors or Higher was 25.20%. Among all New York counties, Putnam County had the highest percentage of its Black or African American Alone population (aged 25 years and above) with an educational attainment of Bachelors or Higher (48.39%), followed by Tompkins County (46.35%), and Saratoga County (42.75%).
