Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, the percentage of the US Black or African American Alone population (aged 25 years and above) who had an educational attainment of High School Graduate or Equivalent was 31.16%. Among all US states and DC, West Virginia had the highest percentage of its Black or African American Alone population (aged 25 years and above) with an educational attainment of High School Graduate or Equivalent (38.27%), followed by Pennsylvania (37.12%), and Arkansas (36.76%).
