Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, among the 20,970 Alaska Black Alone population, 91.11% of them had a health insurance coverage (i.e. 19,106 people), and 8.89% did not have a health insurance coverage (i.e. 1,864 people).

The following age groups of the Alaska Black Alone population had the highest percentage of their population group without a health insurance coverage: the 19 - 64 Years age group (12.49%), followed by the Under 19 Years age group (3.03%), and the 65 Years and Over age group (0.05%).
