Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, among the 15,422,417 California Hispanic or Latino of All Races population, 88.28% of them had a health insurance coverage (i.e. 13,614,174 people), and 11.73% did not have a health insurance coverage (i.e. 1,808,243 people).

The following age groups of the California Hispanic or Latino of All Races population had the highest percentage of their population group without a health insurance coverage: the 19 - 64 Years age group (16.83%), followed by the Under 19 Years age group (4.12%), and the 65 Years and Over age group (2.77%).
