Connecticut Black Alone Population - Health Insurance Coverage Status By Age Group in 2021 (ACS-5Yrs)
Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, among the 379,483 Connecticut Black Alone population, 93.57% of them had a health insurance coverage (i.e. 355,079 people), and 6.43% did not have a health insurance coverage (i.e. 24,404 people).
The following age groups of the Connecticut Black Alone population had the highest percentage of their population group without a health insurance coverage: the 19 - 64 Years age group (8.38%), followed by the Under 19 Years age group (3.56%), and the 65 Years and Over age group (1.74%).
