Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, among the 3,258,240 Florida Black Alone population, 85.05% of them had a health insurance coverage (i.e. 2,771,273 people), and 14.95% did not have a health insurance coverage (i.e. 486,967 people).
The following age groups of the Florida Black Alone population had the highest percentage of their population group without a health insurance coverage: the 19 - 64 Years age group (20.74%), followed by the Under 19 Years age group (7.50%), and the 65 Years and Over age group (2.18%).
