Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, among the 114,570 Iowa Black Alone population, 90.57% of them had a health insurance coverage (i.e. 103,766 people), and 9.43% did not have a health insurance coverage (i.e. 10,804 people).
The following age groups of the Iowa Black Alone population had the highest percentage of their population group without a health insurance coverage: the 19 - 64 Years age group (13.75%), followed by the Under 19 Years age group (3.42%), and the 65 Years and Over age group (1.86%).
