Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, among the 5,832 Montana Black Alone population, 89.23% of them had a health insurance coverage (i.e. 5,204 people), and 10.77% did not have a health insurance coverage (i.e. 628 people).

The following age groups of the Montana Black Alone population had the highest percentage of their population group without a health insurance coverage: the 19 - 64 Years age group (14.77%), followed by the 65 Years and Over age group (9.15%), and the Under 19 Years age group (3.71%).
