Texas Black Alone Population - Health Insurance Coverage Status By Age Group in 2021 (ACS-5Yrs)
Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, among the 3,392,583 Texas Black Alone population, 84.82% of them had a health insurance coverage (i.e. 2,877,420 people), and 15.19% did not have a health insurance coverage (i.e. 515,163 people).
The following age groups of the Texas Black Alone population had the highest percentage of their population group without a health insurance coverage: the 19 - 64 Years age group (20.52%), followed by the Under 19 Years age group (8.15%), and the 65 Years and Over age group (1.26%).
