Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, there were 254,596 people in Maine with Medicaid Health Insurance Coverage (i.e. 18.97% of Maine population).
Among those with Medicaid health insurance coverage, 34.88% of them belonged to the Under 19 Years age group, 47.89% of them belonged to the 19 to 64 Years age group, and 17.24% of them belonged to the 65 Years and Over age group.
