Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, there were 4,661,327 people in Texas with Medicaid Health Insurance Coverage (i.e. 16.41% of Texas population).
Among those with Medicaid health insurance coverage, 62.59% of them belonged to the Under 19 Years age group, 26.78% of them belonged to the 19 to 64 Years age group, and 10.63% of them belonged to the 65 Years and Over age group.
