Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, the percentage of the Oregon population without a health insurance coverage was 6.68% (i.e. 278,280 people). Percentagewise, among all Oregon counties, Malheur County had the highest percentage of its population with no health insurance coverage (10.59%), followed by Jefferson County (10.31%), and Lincoln County (9.34%).

In numerical terms, Multnomah County had the highest number of people without a health insurance coverage (51,822), followed by Washington County (33,952), and Marion County (28,473).
