According to the US Census Bureau Vintage data estimates, in 2012, the birth rate for Colorado was 12.55. Cheyenne County had the highest birth rate (19.82), followed by Yuma County (15.41), and Adams County (15.17). On the other hand, San Juan County had the lowest birth rate (4.34), followed by Kiowa County (5.63), and Custer County (6.16).
