According to the US Census Bureau Vintage data estimates, in 2020, the birth rate for Louisiana was 12.39. Vernon Parish had the highest birth rate (16.8), followed by Calcasieu Parish (14.58), and Evangeline Parish (14.4). On the other hand, Claiborne Parish had the lowest birth rate (7.56), followed by West Feliciana Parish (7.99), and Jackson Parish (8.49).
