Androscoggin County had the highest birth rate (12.25), followed by Waldo County (10.23), and Sagadahoc County (9.94) On the other hand, Piscataquis County had the lowest birth rate (7.62), followed by Lincoln County (7.98), and Hancock County (8.16).
