According to the US Census Bureau Vintage data estimates, in 2012, the birth rate for Minnesota was 12.69. Mahnomen County had the highest birth rate (18.04), followed by Nobles County (16.29), and Beltrami County (15.67). On the other hand, Kanabec County had the lowest birth rate (7.08), followed by Koochiching County (7.88), and Aitkin County (8.63).
