According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2013, the number of births for Montana was 12,198. Yellowstone County had the highest number of births (1,977), followed by Missoula County (1,222), and Cascade County (1,180) On the other hand, Petroleum County had the lowest number of births (4), followed by Treasure County (7), and Powder River County (9).
