According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2012, the number of births for Oregon was 44,921. Multnomah County had the highest number of births (9,407), followed by Washington County (7,245), and Marion County (4,329) On the other hand, Wheeler County had the lowest number of births (9), followed by Gilliam County (17), and Sherman County (19).
