Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2022, the American Indian and Alaska Native Alone population in Alaska was 114,693 and represented 15.64% of the total Alaska population (733,276).

Among Alaska counties, Anchorage Borough had the highest number of people who identified as American Indian and Alaska Native Alone (27,344), followed by Bethel Borough (15,491), and Matanuska-Susitna Borough (7,949). Skagway Borough had the lowest (64).
