Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2012, the Asian Alone population in Maine was 14,595 and represented 1.10% of the total Maine population (1,328,094).

Among Maine counties, Cumberland County had the highest number of people who identified as Asian Alone (6,111), followed by York County (2,309), and Penobscot County (1,513). Piscataquis County had the lowest (131).
