Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2011, the Asian Alone population in Maryland was 341,210 and represented 5.84% of the total Maryland population (5,840,241).

Among Maryland counties, Montgomery County had the highest number of people who identified as Asian Alone (143,626), followed by Howard County (44,652), and Baltimore County (43,124). Garrett County had the lowest (96).
