According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, there were 108,838 people who identified as Non-Hispanic - American Indian and Alaska Native Alone in Alaska, which was 14.84% of the total Alaska population.

Anchorage Municipality had the highest number of people who identified as Non-Hispanic - American Indian and Alaska Native Alone (22,480), followed by Bethel Census Area (15,580), and Kusilvak Census Area (7,946). On the other hand, the three counties with the least number of people who identified as Non-Hispanic - American Indian and Alaska Native Alone were: Skagway Municipality (23), Denali Borough (59), and Haines Borough (205).
