According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, there were 75,017 people who identified as Non-Hispanic - Asian Alone in Iowa, which was 2.35% of the total Iowa population.

Polk County had the highest number of people who identified as Non-Hispanic - Asian Alone (24,313), followed by Johnson County (8,555), and Story County (5,444). On the other hand, the three counties with the least number of people who identified as Non-Hispanic - Asian Alone were: Audubon County (4), Ringgold County (8), and Fremont County (8).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identify as Non-Hispanic - Asian Alone, Buena Vista County had the highest percentage (9.07%), followed by Johnson County (5.60%), and Story County (5.53%).
