According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, there were 1,916,329 people who identified as Non-Hispanic - Asian Alone in New York, which was 9.49% of the total New York population.

Queens County had the highest number of people who identified as Non-Hispanic - Asian Alone (656,583), followed by Kings County (370,776), and New York County (219,624). On the other hand, the three counties with the least number of people who identified as Non-Hispanic - Asian Alone were: Hamilton County (12), Lewis County (65), and Yates County (93).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identify as Non-Hispanic - Asian Alone, Queens County had the highest percentage (27.30%), followed by Kings County (13.55%), and New York County (12.96%).
