According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, there were 340,059 people who identified as Non-Hispanic - Asian Alone in North Carolina, which was 3.26% of the total North Carolina population.

Wake County had the highest number of people who identified as Non-Hispanic - Asian Alone (96,665), followed by Mecklenburg County (71,583), and Guilford County (28,719). On the other hand, the three counties with the least number of people who identified as Non-Hispanic - Asian Alone were: Hyde County (7), Alleghany County (15), and Graham County (20).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identify as Non-Hispanic - Asian Alone, Wake County had the highest percentage (8.56%), followed by Orange County (8.48%), and Mecklenburg County (6.42%).
