According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, there were 636,160 people who identified as Non-Hispanic - White Alone in North Dakota, which was 81.65% of the total North Dakota population.

Cass County had the highest number of people who identified as Non-Hispanic - White Alone (149,442), followed by Burleigh County (84,349), and Grand Forks County (58,755). On the other hand, the three counties with the least number of people who identified as Non-Hispanic - White Alone were: Sioux County (401), Slope County (679), and Billings County (902).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identify as Non-Hispanic - White Alone, Slope County had the highest percentage (96.18%), followed by Emmons County (95.79%), and Steele County (95.72%).
