According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, the voting-age population of people who identified as Non-Hispanic - American Indian and Alaska Native Alone in North Carolina was 77,335; and represented 0.95% of the total North Carolina voting-age population.

Robeson County had the highest number of people who identified as Non-Hispanic - American Indian and Alaska Native Alone (32,700), followed by Cumberland County (3,659), and Hoke County (2,872). On the other hand, the three counties with low Non-Hispanic - American Indian and Alaska Native Alone voting-age population were: Tyrrell County (2), Hyde County (7), and Washington County (15).
