According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, among the 47.17K of the Halifax County, NC Non-Hispanic (not hispanic or latino) population, 52.44% (24.74K) identified their race as Black or African American Alone, 40.43% (19.07K) identified their race as White Alone, and 3.38% (1.59K) identified their race as American Indian and Alaska Native Alone.
