According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, there were 627,573 people (of all racial backgrounds) who identified as Non-Hispanic (not hispanic or latino) in Vermont, which was 97.59% of the total population of Vermont.

Chittenden County had the highest number of of people who identified as non-hispanic (163.57K), followed by Rutland County (59.35K), and Washington County (58.24K). On the other hand, the three counties with low number of people who identified as non-hispanic were: Essex County (5.85K), Grand Isle County (7.17K), and Lamoille County (25.29K).
