According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, the voting-age population, of people (of all racial backgrounds) in Illinois who identified as Non-Hispanic (not hispanic or latino) was 8,379,157; and represented 83.80% of the total Illinois voting-age population.

Cook County had the highest non-hispanic voting-age population (3.19M), followed by DuPage County (626.67K), and Will County (439.65K). On the other hand, the three counties with low non-hispanic voting-age popoulation were: Hardin County (2.95K), Pope County (3.02K), and Calhoun County (3.50K).
