According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, among Mecklenburg County, NC population of 1,115,482 people, 44.71% (498,683) identified their ethnicity as Non-Hispanic - White Alone, 29.12% (324,832) identified their ethnicity as Non-Hispanic - Black or African American Alone, and 8.13% (90,692) identified their ethnicity as Hispanic - Some Other Race Alone.
