According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, among District of Columbia population of 689,545 people, 40.91% (282,066) identified their ethnicity as Non-Hispanic - Black or African American Alone, 37.96% (261,771) identified their ethnicity as Non-Hispanic - White Alone, and 4.86% (33,541) identified their ethnicity as Hispanic - Some Other Race Alone.
