According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, among Chaparral CDP, NM population of 16,551 people, 33.98% (5,624 people) identified their race as Two Or More Races, 32.44% (5,369 people) identified their race as Some Other Race Alone, and 31.29% (5,178 people) identified their race as White Alone.
