According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, among Mississippi population of 2,961,279 people, 56.02% (1,658,893) identified their race as White Alone, 36.62% (1,084,481) identified their race as Black or African American Alone, and 3.74% (110,732) identified their race as Two Or More Races.
